A so good day yesterday. Tired today, but it will go. I will revive after another cup of coffee and by taking the day at a bit more leasurely pace. Lights on the Lake tonight. I do love Lights on the Lake. (But don’t spread that around too far!)
Last night was Blue Chirstmas. A service of the reality of the world at Christmas time. No sugar plums, but comfort and hope. Pr. John preached a heartfelt message of grief felt and faith in a God that shares our burdens and lightens our load.
Here are pictures of my contribution to the evening.

Another holiday project has been the Cookie fundraiser to help our Atonement kids get to the National Youth Gathering. The Congregation is being so supportive. 40 plates of cookies ordered. I thought I was done baking last weekend, but I will need one more batch of the four cookies that are my contirbution. Vicar and I will have made, with the kids help - 60 doz. cookies. The picture is of the last batch of ginger bears!
